I am an International student living in New Delhi, India.. I had mailed all the forms, bank statement, salary certificates required for financial aid.. But today I received a shocking email from University of Richmond stating that they had not received my financial documents but as they are very impressed by my application they will offer me admission if I pay the whole fees.. I had emailed them before regarding the missing materials in the checklist but they never replied.

I got the same. What it means is that they can’t offer you financial aid, and will only accept you if you magically come about $200000 by May 1st…

This is serious cheating… I had sent them all the forms and documents required for aid. Instead of such kind of an email, they could have simply rejected me… :(

That’s EXACTLY what I said, too… I mean, they have all my info, they know I’m poor, what’s the deal with the email? Would’ve appreciated the rejection.

I sent them all the required financial credentials: CSS, Certificate of Finance. Still, it’a huge bargain. I would accept rejection letter instead of full pay.
