<p>I had a few questions if you guys could help me out... </p>
<p>I've noticed that one of the schools I m applying to has a FAFSA due date of 2/1. But, when do the 2006 federal tax returns arrive??</p>
<p>Also, I havent started it yet, but does the CSS require a reference to these tax returns, or?? </p>
<p>Finally, what is this I hear - that the CSS takes a week to process?? Thanks for your help guys </p>

<p>FAFSA - if your tax returns are not ready by feb 1 you estimate your numbers, submit FAFSA, and go back and correct them when you complete your tax return. Do not wait.</p>
<p>Re: CSS - I think the schools know that and as long as you file by the due date you are fine. </p>
<p>Re: FAFSA - estimate taxes based on what you paid in 2005, estimate earned income from your last pay stubs of 2006 and your most up to date bank and investment statements. Update by 3/1 if possible when you've completed your taxes.</p>
