Failing the final BCT test?

Ok, so i’m pretty sure that there is a final evaluation of a cadet at the end of BCT. If there’s not then this thread shouldn’t be very long.

Anyway, if a cadet fails one or more parts of the test, does he get sent home? I’m guessing he would. But my main question is- Can he/she apply for next year if he fails the test after he got accepted?

The answer is there is NO such test.

ALL of BCT is an "evaluation" however...it takes some SERIOUS problems to place a "basic" in a position that they're asked to leave.

VERY serious.

It does happen, but NOT often.

Ok thank you, I just found the information that made me think there was a test. It turns out i read it wrong several months ago and the test is actually just the PFT and AFT. Thanks flieger83!

There is a test...one of self-determination and motivation that goes well beyond Basic into the academic year. Some, including a number of recruited athletes, can't handle it. BCT serves as an "admission ticket" to the cadet wing but the hard part starts with the academic year. You'll have friends heading home for the summer by late April whereas on the hill it's "business as usual." And that's when the test really begins.

If you fail the physical tests, you get put on probation and/or recondo until you can pass them.

Don't forget the excruciating pain we suffered with that final knowledge test at the end of BCT...

this is what you have to know, no matter what they throw at you put out the best you can and you will make it, no matter what they may say ;)

"The man who says he cannot, and the man who says he can are both correct."

I really like that quote raimius! Where did it come from (or is it something you came up with?)
