Got accepted.

Accepted
3.2
Journalism transfer

Haven’t heard yet

In some cases a UC might be a better choice. More money (grants, scholarships) available since less students are competing for funds.

I’m glad I got into CSULB, since the campus is nearby - it was my first choice just for that reason. I plan on applying to UCI or UCLA for graduate school, so CSU is a good starting point. I’ve heard UCLA and other schools if you complete undergrad through them most won’t accept you into a graduate program as they want you to gain some diversity.

Seems to be a lul in decisions from LB just as others (SDSU and Cal Poly) are ramping up.

Anyone hear anything this week?

I got accepted back in late feb.

EE transfer, 3.05.

Also, does anyone know what happens if your spring semester schedule is different from the one you reported on the CSUmentor app? I emailed them before but they never got back to me and I sent my transcript as requested already. I’m assuming nothing would happen since my admission was based on my supplemental application and it showed that my A3 class is different anyways.

On another note, does anyone know what “academic level: transfer senior” means?

Still waiting on my portfolio review for the Narrative Production Option in FEA, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed! If I don’t get into the program here, I have been accepted into the same program at Northridge, and will go there. This waiting game is killing me.

@lakerfan did you just get accepted to the University and still waiting to hear back about getting into the Narrative Option?

I got my acceptance email for the program today, portfolio review and all, so they’re rolling them out! Hope to see you there!

What about the interview for the portfolio review? I was expecting an interview, but I guess they just skipped it, b/c I saw I was accepted into the major…

Checked on Friday, and I’m in!! WAHOOOOO!! Narrative Production was the name on the official (online) document, but I am also not sure about the interviews. I called yesterday but had to leave a message. I am going to call again on Monday and see what they say. I’ll post if I hear back from them. Did you guys get a chance to talk to them? It seems as though everyone is confused about the interviews.

Not out of the clear yet. Even if it says you were admitted to the option, you still need to do the interview which we will be notified of in April.

No, I talked to them today and they are not doing interviews. If it says Narrative Production in the email, you are in! Congrats! I’m so excited!

see yall there then!

I still didn’t received anything!
is computer science major impacted or hard to get in?

when is the last day they send accept/decline letters?
do you get it in email or should I keep checking every day ?

my status : csu gpa 3.5 and act 21

do you guys think i can get in ?

is there anyone that got in for computer science major ?

With those stats, you should be in pretty good shape. That said, if you were an easy YES, they would have already gotten back to you. My son is in the same boat (no word yet) and you’ve got a better CSU Index than he does.

According to their applicant self service (still cracks me up). "We will notify you of a decision no later than April 1. We appreciate your patience during this process. "

It is nice to know they appreciate our patience…

I’ve got to say, the long wait and “self service” attitude is really turning me off to the place. It makes me wonder how impersonal, delayed and uncaring the whole experience will be.

Good luck.

@Ncalrent then you’d probably hate CPP then, they’re lagging behind on everyone. I’m still stuck on referred to impacted plan for CPP but I got into CSULB back in feb for EE.

Why in the heck is this taking so long?? Waiting for freshman admission decision. Want to go and take another look over spring break but only if I get in, of course.
