Still nothing, nobody heard from GS today…
They tell everyone that they’re currently reviewing your application, just to get rid of us, I guess… Who really knows when the application is reviewed…? I heard that they take 4 hours to review each application, and 2 people make independent decisions…

Hmmm, I just wanna know already to plan my transfer and all that, like you guys…

Very perceptive, LizfromHollywood! I am indeed a dude!

And, James, no. Sadly, the tour hours conflicted with my summer work/school schedule. However, I’d be glad to give a tour to you or anyone else that’s interested. Seriously, everyone, I’m going to be in Morningside all summer. Hit me up.

Congrats to Greathal and Liz. Hope the rest of you hear something tomorrow. I remember that NOT hearing anything on Fridays made for anxious weekends, so I’m hoping to see some happy posts here tomorrow.

I’m hoping to have reason to take you up on that offer HelloJan! I guess today’s call window has closed. Tomorrow will bring some good news!

Me too, James. Great luck to you and everyone else.

Rest easy tonight, friends. I hope that you’ll all have quite a bit of celebrating to do tomorrow!

I hope you are right @ hellojan…
Hopefully tomorrow is the day

I wonder if anybody from admissions read this thread

Hah, I imagine they have now.

Jan, my admissions package was relatively barebones. No advising material, and they included a sheet telling me that the GS online community was still being set up. It looked like they wanted to process my acceptance reply form before giving me additional information. Once they do that and I can log in to Financial Aid, I’m scheduling my trip up.

Then again, I’m a student now. Why not call tomorrow and see what’s going on? As a general rule, it’s better to ask than not to ask…so all of you should pester them about decisions on Friday too. :)

yes i am itching to see what my financial aid looks like…

At least if I don’t get a decision tomorrow I will have a distraction in my weekend trip to dc…I guess there is always a way through it lol

Congratulations Liz and Greathal! I look forward to meeting you both around campus, should either of you decide to accept Columbia’s offer.

Liz, FYI, (only since you mentioned you were eager to see it), GS generally does not send out any financial aid paperwork with the initial acceptance offers. I had to wait quite some time between the acceptance pack (a very minimal affair, as greathal noted) and the financial aid award letter. That seemed to be the case for everyone else I spoke with as well, at least during the admissions cycle late last year.

A new day, a new chance to join greathal and liz. Hopefully they will want to get some calls out of the way before the weekend

Morning!
Today is a new day, the sun is shining, the weather is rising…feels like someone will get a call. Hopefully it is me, hehehehe
This morning I dreamt that I was in Morningside campus, I cannot escape the thought! Inception I say, inception! – they are in my dreams! Lol . Hopefully, this dream was more of a premonition than a mere reflection of my subconscious’ yearnings. I hope…:)

Good morning ! I’m back online. I couldn’t help it. I missed you guys. I’m very pleased to announce that so far no rejection from GS. And I hope none of us do.

i am glad you came back Brohlijk, it just wasn’t the same without you.

It is almost 11am EST -we now have 6:15:00 hrs left to go…countdown continues…

Invic u butter my heart. I wonder how many people got a response but arent on the forum

lol Broh! I think I AM butter. I’ve completely lost my solidity, I’ve melted like butter under the sun while waiting for an answer. lol :D
