Fall 2011 Admission Decisions

@XX- whats your major, girl child?

" @XX " - what does that abbrv. mean?
I’m not all there with the acronyms :o

Xx as compared to the male xy…chromosomes

Hmmm…what are the chances of someone hearing today

I was feeling pretty good about today. Every passing minute just makes it seem more and more unlikely. I’m staying positive though! At least one of us today GS!

Of course! duh! - didn’t even think about that! thought it was some sort of drawing, go figure! lol must be Friday.

@ my dear XX counterpart, I am majoring in Financial Economics, looking to go to the School of Business right after my BA in CU. As an undergraduate, I am able to take some courses at the School of Business if accepted to the dual program…well that is if I am granted acceptance at all, which I am praying they will
BTW - I know my vibrant soul may elicit you to surmise I’m a young soul…but if you really knew…oh boy “you think you know, but you have no idea” !! getting closer and closer to the 3-0 :-o …lol!

@James… In the words of Buzz Lightyear “Never give up, Never surrenderrrr!” lol! (I know,I know! what a great figure to quote! or do you prefer one by Franklin D. Roosevelt? lol! )

Liz the stars lined up perfectly for you! Outstanding sis! Mine are bouncing at eachother. All this wait feels like having nitroglycerin in my hands. I open my mail box very very slowly

FDR? Pffff! “To infinity and beyond!” for life!!! lol

LOL! @James!

oh oh! 2:05:00 HRS remaining!

No rejection today…and at this rate another day without a call

I always preferred Woody to Buzz Lightyear personally. I wonder what he would say in this situation?

“There’s a snake in my boot”?

I say yes.

I’m thinking he would say “Reach for the sky!”

No calls? “Someone’s poisoned the waterhole!”

I wonder what fun filled adventure tangent we’re going to go on next!

I wish we could be discussing financial aid, housing, etc, etc. But until then, the waiting adventures (oxymoron yes!) continue. Will someone get a call or FedEx envelope? Tune in next week. Same GS time, same GS thread!

I got the call!!! I’m in!!!

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!! Baxter! Baxter! Baxter!

Congrats! We all believed in you and you are in!

GreatHal, Liz, and now Baxter! You guys definitely deserve it!

Nice that I have a nice weekend trip in DC to celebrate now
