Fall 2012 Transfers

Stuff happens. I bet that they can’t just do something with you without contacting you first, especially if it concerns papers (because papers and mail does get lost)

The same has happened to me, i received the golden letter the day before yesterday and then the big envelope today. So i follow the instruction saying the deadline of sending official transcript is 7/1. It makes no sense. Today is Saturday, I order it today but its not going to be ready in a few days because the school office says it needs around 3 days to get the transcript ready. Well, I mean they shouldn’t reject me by that hopefully because I don’t feel like I m doing anything wrong. It is not my fault.

The 1st deadline is just for admissions, not for those-still-waiting / applicants, correct?

I think they just have a template they use for all acceptance letters, and sometimes they forget to change the dates in there.

I don’t think they would reject you over this, but contact admissions and tell them about the issue.

I’m an international transfer & haven’t received my decision letter up until today.
It takes a ridiculously long time  i put Art as my major.

Does anyone know how to upload a new updated transcript? They might delay the decision process because of this. I haven’t sent them my grades from Spring 2012.

Did they ask for the Spring '12 grades so they can make a decision? If not, you don’t have to send it to them.

SONIAJR
I didn’t submit my Spring grades since I was not asked for. Well i think probably they re reviewing application. i hope you will get the letter soon and Good luck :)

Got my unofficial transcript! YAY!

Congratulations!

hey guys, I got an e-mail back from admissions about the weird transcript deadline issue. she said “As soon as your final transcripts become available please send them to UW, we know that some schools do not yet have them ready or were notified later than others about the requirement.” so basically it’s okay if you send yours in after july 1st. phew! just wanted to let you guys know.

Got my acceptance letter today, my unofficial transcript never loaded. Probably going to decline the offer, have my heart set on western. Kind of surprised I got in my GPA was like a 3.3 when I applied, its a 3.4 now

So, I feel like everyone has already heard back except for me. My transcripts haven’t loaded either, so I’m basically feeling around in the dark. My boyfriend is under the impression that I can simply call admissions and ask if I’m in or not. I call BS, but for the sake of my desperation, can someone disagree with his notion so I can get on with my life?

I doubt that admissions will tell you anything except for “please wait for the decision letter”

le sigh. I figured as much.

My friend hasn’t heard back either. Also, it’s only July 3 so there’s still time.

I still have not heard back either. :-/ …

Did you apply for a competitive major? I think I read here in CC that that might be a factor. Like, the admissions office is waiting for the department’s decision. I’m a CSE applicant though, and I was accepted as a pre sci.

Yeah, that’s definitely a factor… I think that the CSE is among the latest to accept. The Business School, on the other hand, is among the first (I got my notification 1.5 months ago).

Anyone have an idea of why I was admitted to UW Seattle as pre-sci but I was accepted into UWB’s bio major? I’m pretty sure I have the requirements filled for Seattle…
