<p>@Sheoftheseaā Helloo, no I havenāt got any sort of letter from FIT, but I called to the admissions office this Monday and they told me that my final decision letter was sent on april 17, but because it is international mail it will take like 15 days to get to Colombiaā¦ I hope that letter comes with good news! What about you? When will they let you know about your final decision? </p>

<p>Good luck @FITPH1204ā ! I would call to ask if there is an extension for sending in your deposit if you did get in, since you are receiving your letter late and are an international student. It will make things sound much more clear to you!</p>
<p>Is it a bad sign that I havenāt got a letter yet. I called this week and they said my āapplication is still under reviewā. But the thing is i got into Parsons and tuition deposit is due May 1. I really want to go too FIT because I can afford it more than Parsons. </p>
<p>I had a 2.7 GPA. which isnāt the best but Iāve worked a lot in fashion. Iām a menās fashion director of a magazine, i used to my a fashion writer for an entertainment website and I have a fashion blog. I added all that in my essay to make up for my low GPA. I also took classes for my major (Fashion Merch Mgmt) at the college iām going to right now and i have a 2.8. at the end of this semester Iāll have a 3.0.</p>
<p>Iām still hoping and praying that everything will workout :(</p>
<p>@lol258 no its not. the school is still making decisions. keep hanging in there for your letter. i am a transfer student so the long wait was due to the school transferring over 80 credit hours. i rather they take their time and accept me by accepting all my credits so I donāt have to pay for classes I already passed in undergrad and grad. the deposit for FIT per my package is not due to May 5th. Even if you pay for Parsons, see if they will refund you your money.</p>

<p>@lashsummer Hey! Thatās good to hear. Iām on the wait list for FMM. When did you find out and how? Mail? Email? If you find out by mail, did you get an acceptance packet or just a letter?</p>
<p>A counselor said that no one has yet was acccepted from waitlist when I asked yesterday. When did you get accepted?? But congrats thoughā im still waiting to hear back</p>

<p>I just called their admissions office to ask when Iād hear back from the waitlist, and the person said that they started reviewing them this week and are sending out decisions next week! Fingers crossed!</p>
