Fall 2014 Transfer Applicants

Decisions are out. Best of luck to everyone!

accepted to CAS!

Rejected :(

A part of me just died…

rejected from wharton. expected haha but still sad. oh well, i got accepted to uva anyway so life’s not over

Rejected

Rejected to CAS econ, good luck to everyone else

Rejected… 2 rejections from Penn and Cornell so far. I doubt I can get into any of the schools I applied for transfer. I guess I’m staying at least one more year at UCLA. Decent SAT, perfect GPA, decent ECs, academic-focused essay, not sure what it takes to get into Penn :(

ACCEPTED!!! Yay! I can’t believe this!

@injustice how did you get your decision from Brown already? are their decisions posted yet?

Anyway, congrats to those who got in! I’m gonna try my best to make it next year

I wrote it wrong, I meant Cornell instead of Brown. I’m still waiting to hear back from Brown as well.

rejected. have over a 4.0 at Cornell Engineering and waitlisted as freshman. Was somewhat surprised to be honest, but so it goes. congrats to everyone else who was accepted, must have been very competitive!

Waitlisted by CAS. Wondering what’s the chance for getting in later? Congrats to those who got in!

They said 2,400+ applicants this year. Wonder how many spots.

Rejected like I had assumed, sucks but oh well time to move on from Penn for good

Rejected, but not at all phased. I already got into Vanderbilt and am ecstatic to go, so no hard feelings  congrats to all who were accepted!

Rejected by Penn Engineering for the second time. 3.93 GPA at Rice Engineering for the first semester and straight A+ and A for the second (this semester). Have decent recommendations from both the undergraduate dean and instructors who know me very well. Did not expect to be rejected honestly. Truly disappointed.

Did anyone got accepted to Wharton? I don’t understand their fit criteria anymore… Where is that dude from harvard who boasted about perfect gpa and applying to wharton? Did you get in?

does anybody know if there’s some sort of stigma against applying from peer schools?
