@SevenBlue Got regents to UCI but haven’t heard anything from SD, and I’m not out of state, gpa is competitive for my major- global health 3.87… Just gotta wait a few hours anyway. I’m surprised they didn’t give you regents…
@POTUS2040 hahah same here!! when i got UCSD I was like I wish you were UCLA right now… btw, do you know what are the requirements for regents? I was wondering why I haven’t received it?
At this time, all decisions have been made. I do not think they will review more applications tomorrow.
I am sure my application is in ‘Rejected’ category, so I promised that I would buy my friends at least $500 dinner if I were accepted. Please do not worry about my budget. It will never happen. For applicants whose GPAs are more than 3.90, you must get in. None of UCs care about PS and EC. Even missing some Pre-Req is forgiven as long as your GPA is very close to 4.00. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

I think its just based on the strength of the app. Dont be discouraged though, because as far as I know they are still giving out Regents through early May. I was not expecting to learn about Regents for UCSD until May, but surprisingly got it early (like my admission).
I have no word on UCI Regents, but it says theyre giving them out in May, so im feeling confident about it since I got it for UCSD.
Did you get the invite for UCLA Regents?

@POTUS2040 not really, I applied to UCLA SD and Berkeley and didn’t get regents from any of them. That’s why I’m finding it weird, my application was pretty strong. Oh well… As long as we get into the schools, thats what matters the most!

@copenhagenlc No it was an honest mistake. I put an “A” instead of a “Pass” for a class lol. It was a nontransferable unit,
@Sumner since I’m a communications major, I have speech and debate, Public relations director for Student Government at my cc, internship at the school’s tv station, PR and activities director at a club, and honors program student.
@Messaeggi I’d love to believe that UCLA or UCB don’t care about personal statements or extracurriculars, but it certainly doesn’t seem to be the case. And missing pre-reqs is often a big deal. I have a 3.93 with weak extracurriculars and missing 1 pre-req that was never offered at my CC, and I can’t see myself getting accepted to either.
@dkarbcs before submitting my email, I asked my councilor for advice and she told me they really do not care about making updates, but if they feel like you tried to boost your GPA and beg for forgiveness later, they would rescind the app. But by making the edit, it shows you were not trying to hide anything. I took her word for it since she doesn’t really speculate much.
