@Iph207 For what major? I applied to UWB for Engineering and was told it might take until late July.
@TST974 There were a couple tough courses that required almost daily reading/ studying, and there were a lot of very easy courses. It seemed very unorganized (not sure if anyone had that same problem at other community colleges), but glad to be done there nonetheless.
Hi, guys i got accepted. there is a little trick, i think the general admission is already release. when i change the application from" directly to major" to " apply to general admission" then i got admitted immediately. hope you guys can get in later. my Gpa is 3.45. and i have almost 90 credits after this spring and no associate degree.
Congratulations! Can I ask u how do u do it? Can we still change our application now? Or if there is a trick to check it earlier?
Accepted to Foster on the 14th. 3.92 GPA from a four year oos university.
What “themes” did you guys use for your personal statement? I know it’s kind of dumb but I didn’t realize there was supposed to be a theme. You know, like some people make it about the first job or whatever, I just straight up wrote an essay answering the questions that were asked, so I’m worried since I didn’t catch that you were supposed to write more of a story/theme, that’ll make a huge negative impact.
@HersheySquirts91 hey I got accepted to UWB early May for Communication and media studies but I rejected it since I am going to Seattle campus.
@lph207 oh okay, got it. Thanks for the response!
@DannyUW2017 Congratulations! How were you able to change your application?
Think we have another round being sent out this week? What departments have we heard acceptances from? Fosters, pre-science, computer science, pre-nursing… anything else?
I got the general admission on Jun 26th as a pre-science major. The GPA when I applied for the school is 3.97. UW Seattle didn’t ask me to update my winter or spring grade, and I think that’s why I haven’t gotten into CS major. Btw, I am an in-state cc and international transfer student.
Is there anyone who got into computer science major at the same time when he/she got the general admission?
I did. Usually the department looks at your application first if you did not get into CS before your general admission I believe you did not get in. If your transcript says prescience I believe that means general admission accepted you but you did not get into computer science.
who is still waiting to hear back? I am, and it’s especially nerve wracking since I am an out-of-state transfer and I have to figure out the living situation once I hear back.
I still havent heard back either!
Neither have I I was telling people at work how we may not find out until the end of the month and they were shocked. What major are you guys?
@godawgs1043 Psychology, though I did say I would apply to the program during Spring quarter.
I checked the unofficial transcript section and I think it loaded, it includes a student number, class (Junior), college, and major. I only have credits for my AP Spanish exam from high school. I think I got in.
How do you find that?
@Shipandtheglobe I logged into myUW account, clicked on admissions on the left section, and clicked on “unofficial UW Transcript” on the right section and the screen changed from “student services for current UW students…” to reading “Unofficial Transcript.”
Also when I clicked on the admissions application information, it changed from “Thank you for your application…” to “Congratulations…” This happened around 3:00pm today.
