@Denielle534 on your My Status page, on the right hand side,under Freshman Admission Application, after “Semester” it should say: Fall 2016. Next, it says “Status’”. Does it say Complete/On time?

At the very top of the page under all of the tabs, it should say:
Your application for admission is in review.
We have all the items we need to make your admission decision. As soon as your decision is made, it will be posted on this page and you’ll be notified by mail.

When you submitted the essay and rec letter, did you use the upload system?

I just looked through the saved emails, and TAMU sent emails of acknowledgement with each item submitted via uploader and UT did not.

@Denielle534 - are you asking only about the Presidential Scholarship and not just general admissions?

For the scholarship-did you have everything submitted by 12/8/15?
I did read on Twitter that this is the first year of the scholarship- so they might be working through the process. You could always contact them about the issue.

It sounds like a few went out this week. Looking at last year’s thread, the January group was relatively small so possibly this one is too.

Looking at last year’s thread again - there was a small wave first week of February that included Fine Arts, Architecture, and some natural sciences. A few one offs here and there and then the final wave third week of February.

@Denielle534 - if everything was submitted by the deadline- then they are probably processing the application.

If it is similar to other financial aid, according to the site " Award recipients will begin to be notified in late March and the majority of awards will be completed by early May. A very small number of offers will continue to be made throughout June and July with all awards finalized by August."

On Twitter, UT admission said a small number of liberal arts decisions went out yesterday.

I got word that acceptances are going out for the school of Nursing. Out of 2000 freshman, about 130 were admitted. Emails were sent out congratulating those accepted and invited them to a reception. So check you emails!!!
