Favorite Food from Dining Halls?

where’s the best place to go to get the most out of our meal points? is it worth getting the all-you-can=eat meals?

Do the dining halls have toothpicks? I don’t use floss.

I liked the quesadillas at late night. And the pesto pasta at cafe 3. And a lot of the desserts at cafe 3 - chocolate blackout cake and white chocolate mousse?

Someone please answer my question so I can see if I need to bring my own toothpicks or not :(

Bump, please someone help me :(

@steven: They don’t have toothpicks.

supermarkets or convenience stores - easy to buy more toothpicks. no need to truck a years worth in with you on move-in day.

The last time I had fish from Crossroads I took some for take-out. I didn’t really “have” any of it seeing as it was raw, uncooked, and ice-cold. So nasty! :/

Crossroads is disgusting. My first semester at Cal I was fooled weekly because the menu looked so good–I was so pumped to go eat. When I got there, however, by-and-large the food was terrible. The cereal is pretty good though (:

chicken nuggets, omelettes, eggs over easy

OMG, after being here for less than 2 weeks, I already feel so fat and bloated :frowning: I just went out and got a blended coffee drink full of surgar and cream :frowning: so guilty!

crossroads is freaking disgusting.

It’s already been said, but I wanna voice my opinion too. Crossroads is freaking disgusting.

Cafe 3, on most nights, has the best food.

The dim sum and bao are usually pretty solid (this coming from a chinese guy) but I loooooooooooooove the lasagna.

crossroads has sucked for me so far

Corssroads sucks for me, I have eaten at Cafe 3 once in a while but so far I like CKC the best, simply for its awesome design. CKC rules!

In my opinion, they are all the same and make me feel fat :(

It’s all too salty! I get really bloaty after eating the food here.

But I do like the garlic bread, mashed potatoes, eggs, and bagels. The organic salad bar is nice but gets boring after a while.

In terms of where I like to eat:

I like Foothill, but it doesn’t have the variety of Crossroads and Cafe 3.

Hate Crossroads. It’s ugly inside and has a terrible layout.

Cafe 3 is okay but still… eh.

Haven’t tried Clark Kerr yet because it’s too long of a walk. I doubt the food there is worth the extra effort (please correct me if I’m wrong).
