Thank you very much @UAHAdmissions - really looking forward to our visit!

I have stayed at the on-campus Bevill Center twice, and I can recommend it! It is clean, quiet, and not too expensive. The Gardenview Café has, well, a nice garden view.

Thanks for the info on Bevill Center. We’re taking DD for a second visit soon, and staying practically on campus should help answer her questions about what it’s like there on a weekend night.

Bonus: they have a home game against MI Tech that night  Gonna be a fun one!

50N40W: Make sure you eat on campus. If you have a chance, chat with some of the students to gain their perspectives on UAH. My son is in his second year. He loves the challenges of his academics. But he’s glad for his car so he can go off-campus to join friends for meals, shopping, etc.

Long story but we ended up staying at Home2. It was beautiful - clean and nice! Across the way from that big shopping center near the Westin.

We stayed at the Bevill Center, which offered a nice discount for a university sponsored event plus provided shuttle transportation to both the honors banquet and the game.

@50N40W We wanted to stay at Bevill but it was full. :frowning: It turned out OK though; we are big Home2 fans.

The honors banquet was really nice.
