@soccersr. If you make a 30-60-90 triangle with the larger circle’s radius being the hypotenuse of the triangle, the smaller circle’s radius the short leg, and half the equilateral triangle’s lower side the long leg, you will see the radii are at a ratio of 2:1 because the hypotenuse of a 30-60-90 compared to the short leg of the same triangle will also always have a ratio of 2:1.

meh i hope for 2/4 of those right right now i remember 1 out of the 4 but thats because i was most confident, (i mean of the ones you listed)

I guessed the 2:1 question but i believe it’s right honestly on that level they don’t want to overcomplicate it so I think if most people say 2:1 it’s the correct answer

its 2:1
one circle in the equilateral triangle, one outside of it. the small radius drops down to become the 90 of a 30, 60 90 triangle. the large radius goes from the center to the edge of the equilateral triangle, bisecting the 60* making it a 30*. therefore you have a 30 60 90 triangle and it is just the ratio of the hypotenuse to the height.

nevermind

10char

Wait no! It is 2:1 my fault

how bout that science section eh?

I don’t think alot of people would remember alot of the science section because it was extremely rushed.

For the .1x-5100 answer, did you have use a graph they gave you to solve it? I remember solving .1x because I thought it was asking for the slope of the line, probbaly because I was rushed.

You had to use the graph. Think aboutit. It asked u for the equation if it was greater thsn 200000. So u looked at the graph and found the tax value if it was 200000. Ifu did .1(20000) your taxes would be too high. So u had tovsubtract something. In this caseit was 5100

That makes sense, it seemed to easy to just find the slope.

was .1x=5000 or w/e the lowest choice cuz i think thats what i chose

It was the lowest choice after the answer choice .1x

^did that make it choice letter B?

YEs it is b

I forgot how we were supposed to find the answer to that question. I hope I put that down.

Btw, for the answer that was 160,000, was that like looking at the graph, then looking at a certain point, and it was between 150,000 and 180,000 so we could assume it was 160,000?

What was the answer for the question in reading with the soap grease man? The question where they asked which question was not answered in the passage? Was it why she didn’t like the soap grease man or like where she got jam for her mom?

@ free style, I believe I said the soap man. Because the author mentioned disliking the soap man, but never provided reasons as to why.

soap man is the right answer

This might be kind of random: but am I the only one who doesn’t remember many of the questions?

I feel like after a long test like this I forget nearly all of the questions.

It iS not the soap man!! 100%. I found the passage online and word for word from the passage it states, “if on a tuesday afternoon her mother wanted flour and jam from hennessy’s, Lydia would avoid the more direct route along fifth street due to her dislike of the soap grease man and his fleshy block of laundry soap”

Hey, guys. This is my first time using CC :).

I just have one question on the math section, I don’t know if I misread it or what.

It had a big square divided into a lot of rectangles and in one of the corners (the bottom left one) there was a circle inscribed inside a square with a radius. Can someone please show me step by step how to do it? (: thanks!
