Field of study?

Another one of my pointless threads is here!

If you could be in another field of study, what field (major) would you choose?

If I wasn't going into anthropology I would probably have gone into conservation biology. But I am also facinated by transcendental philosophy and literature (not sure if this is even a thing), botany, zoology, and essentially any awesome subject (which for me is most subjects).

Marine biology!Maybe minus the biology… but so obsessed with the ocean!

Nice (: @Mik194‌
Marine biology sounds super interesting, I am a bit bummed I never got to take the course at my CC.
Have you looked into oceanography at all?
What is your current major?

Im going to be getting a degree in public health sciences  I have! But doesn’t seem like there are too many jobs available for that field!

Cool.
It’s a bummer when there is an essentially nonexistent job market in such great fields.
Obviously, I didn’t let that stop me :stuck_out_tongue: but it has its discouraging moments.

Environmental Science. Or yeah, marine biology. Haha.

I’m a Political Science major, but I was contemplating on changing it to Plant Sciences/Botany. I still do sometimes, but it seems way too late now. Ever since we covered the plant chapters in my previous Bio class, I’ve become so fascinated about the crucial role they play as being pretty much the foundation for life to exist on this planet. Pretty intense stuff…

I’m a Political Science major but I would opt for Architecture :stuck_out_tongue:

Food science at Davis because they have classes on brewing and malting, awesome!

I’m a graphic/media/arts major, but I considered zoology as a serious career choice. I am interested in too many things to be honest. It was a tough decision.

If I weren’t an Actuarial Science major, I’d probably be an Actuarial Science major.

Astronomy. Too much math for me to actually pursue it.

If I were better at math, I’d probably double major in physics and philosophy.

You’d be surprised at how much you’d learn about the universe and the laws of nature when studying philosophy and physics. To be sure, different perspectives on the subject will be presented. It’d make for an excellent education!

But alas, I suck ass at math

I wish I would have majored in economics or sociology, they’re my passion, but I chose chemical engineering instead because it seems more practical.

Political Science major, but find Sociology interesting as well. I also have recently discovered a love for science, specifically astronomy and neuroscience. I’m all over the place though, a lover of education and information in general so I would love to major in everything if I had the time. Lol

Economics. I dont really know if I can even get a job after graduating. I don’t have a strong passion for it either. If I can double major then maybe I would go with Accounting or Chemical Engineering.

Sounds like such a bummer :frowning:
You feel hopeless for employment and you don’t even like what you are majoring in?
Is there something in particular that you would like to go into?
