Hey i was wondernig if those that have already recieved a finaid packet from GW could tell us about how much of your need was met? Especially if you have a low EFC, did GW provide you with an adequate amount of money for you to go there?

anybody???

I believe Finaid packets were sent out Thursday

does anybody know if GW is generous to families with low EFCs?

hey wanster i just got my finaid package today
and my efc is around 3K, but they are asking me to pay 10K - as in, after the grants, loans and work study
im not sure i can go here
what im surprised about is that my stats are practically the same as people who got full tuition scholarships - are these scholarships only for certain schools?

hey thanks for droppin by, 10k is the max I can pay for college... i'll have to decide if it's actaully worth the money going there... how much loan did they give you?

my EFC is about 8.5k and GW offered me about 35k in financial aid. I was more than surprised as i wasn't even expecting 20.

***?! GW sucks. my EFC is < 3000, yet somehow i have to fork over more than 12k. basically, GW offered enough money to pay for tuition (including loans, work study, etc) & that's it. they gave me 35k & tuition, room, board, & fees are almost 50k. Should I try to negotiate? Penn offered me an amazing package, and though I like GW, it's not worth it to pay all this money when another school is offering more.

I have arround 25k that I'll have to cough up. Not sure it's going to be worth it. Off to the state school I guess :(

loans is around 4K which i dont mind bcuz its subsidized
