finally a possible girlfriend? how much do i need to pay?

wowwwwwwwww johnadams wow…how the hell do ya know if a girl “could be the one” (by the one i assume the girl you want to spend the rest of your life with) if ya met her at a club an hour ago, you can hardly hear cause the music is so loud, its dark, you’re drunk and all ya did was dance.

Nobody is forcing her to take a shot…if she is dying of thirst she can get herself a drink. What kinda stuck up ***** sits around waiting for a drink to quench her thirst and if she doesn’t get it she leaves…a girl I won’t be paying attention to I know that…let alone a girl that “could be the one”…if a girl leaves cause you didn’t get her a drink she wasn’t into you in the first place champ…she just got to the bar and she wants to get drunk so she’ll let you buy her drinks until she’s ready for me.

Yeah shes thirsty and wants a drink…so by all means give her everything she wants, especially when you just met her, I hear that really triggers attraction with the ladies…a shot on the other hand is a challenge, fun, unexpected, and a hell of a lot more original, but no girls don’t like those things. Asking her when is she gonna buy you a drink, if you do it in the right way obviously, is gonna do more good things, then buying her one. Every shot, I promise you. You will never understand this.

Instead of luvin’ u I was makin’ it rain!

Definitely agree. One of my friends does this all the time and is extraordinarily successful. Hell I’ve even done it a few times successfully. The execution and circumstances need to be right but imo this shows balls, humor, and confidence over buying some random girl a drink which displays…chivalry and perhaps money.

ha!..gee you guys are really good at this stuff…

good luck boys, I see where you are all heading socially…

take care

You don’t, that’s the point. If she does like you, she won’t care unless she has low self-esteem or some other issues.

The scenario you describe seems rare.

The girl hasn’t been pre-gaming or drinking at the bar at all (on her own tab or with her friends), but now wants to drink?

What is this “dying of thirst” because you were on the dance floor? Hasn’t happened to me, usually people have been drinking already and in any case alcohol dehydrates you.

Some girls do not like or drink beer. Either for weight reasons or the influence of gender stereotypes. They will drink mixed drinks with just as many calories, however.

Asking a girl to buy you a round may work - I’ve found that it can come across as too cocky if the girl is not very confident in herself - she’ll think you are trying to use her, believe it or not.

If a girl pouts over not getting a free drink — guess what, I didn’t screw up, SHE blew it with ME. She can have the other drones at the bar.

If said girl told you she had a boyfriend, would your ‘gentleman’ nature still inspire you to buy her a drink? Why not? She is still a woman, impossible to fend for herself, obviously poorer than you, and can’t be seen in high society paying for her own drink!

If you’re beginning to understand how someone becomes attracted to you or when they decide they want to sleep with you, you’ll understand it has nothing to do with who is paying for drinks.

*Oh, and I’ve been out with female friends who tried to impress me/ the guys by trying to wrangle as many free drinks as possible out of these older guys at the bar. Like it was a contest. Will I see you being their next willing target, John Adams?
