Does anyone know the date?

I was wondering about this too... anyone know?

is this FAFSA, or something else

you must file your fafsa and gpa verification form for the cal grant between jan 1 and march 2. you can file the fafsa after the march 2 deadline but you'll lose money in grants..
here you can see examples of ontime vs. late fin aid apps

i don't even know if i am qualify for fafsa...

If you're an American citizen, you're eligible to fill out the FAFSA. (;

Maybe others as well, I don't know.

im a permenent resident. i should do it then!

permanent residents and citizens are quailified, except for international students

I don't have any tax report/record though lol... not sure if i could get any grants nor fin. aid...

is scholarship also included in FAFSA?

torrancecali, if you're claimed as a dependant, you'll be able to file the fafsa, as long as you have the taxes of the head/s of your household.

scholarships are not awarded through the fafsa. in general, they are merit based but some are need based. it depends on the criteria. usually you have to apply for them through your college's fin aid/scholarship office, but you can also get some through private sources. if you are awarded any scholarships, they should be reported to your college's fin aid office so that work-study/loans can be adjusted.

inch- thx for the info.! question: my parents are in Korea can I use the foreign tax report?
