Financial aid documents requested

Today we received a letter from the financial aid dept. at William and Mary requesting documents and a copy of our 2006 tax returns. The letter is careful to say that admissions decisions have not yet been made and that we shouldn't interpret the request to mean that an acceptance is coming. I was just wondering, however, if everyone else is getting this letter. My daughter has applied for fall admission and we're OOS.

I got the same financial aid packet from W&M today too. I live in MA, i was just wondering/hoping that the letter meant you were being seriously considered for admission.

It's just a requirement for the admission officers to have a complete applicatioin. This means that you didn't have one. Don't worry it doesn't affect anything it just means they have to have everyone's completed application.

This isn't from the admissions office but from that of financial aid. Got one Tuesday as well. Pretty standard stuff. Had four financial aid supplement packages in the mail yesterday.
