Financial Aid Email?

OK, so now I’m officially freaking out… Why would they send some people mail, and others no mail? I have a really bad feeling about this :(( Has anyone requested a confirmation of receipt of the documents from their office? Maybe they’ll talk about this ‘trend’ in their reply.

If only Princeton had an official forum on their website where we could ask such questions…

I sent in my tax info on December 3rd requesting a confirmation, just now got an email redponse. Yes your application is now complete

I sent mine December 2nd. I didn’t request confirmation though. Still haven’t received an email.

@jellybean44 what did your email look like?

Dear xxx,
Yes , we have received your documents ,
Your application is now complete.
Sincerely,
Office of under. Fin aid

Did everyone who received the email request confirmation?

Guys, let’s just kill this thread - its pointless to fret over this, don’t worry about it. There is most likely no causation, or even correlation, between admissions and getting the financial aid letter. You will have your decisions in less than 6 days anyways. It’ll be okay :)

I got one, but yeah I’m pretty sure it only means that the form has been confirmed! preparing for the worst :stuck_out_tongue: d-5 guys!!

@whatimasenior‌ : when did u send the form? email or fax? stats?

@RunningForLife‌ still no email for you either? I’m really anxious…

@ladybug97‌ : same…

although @runningforlife as I frantically text my friend she says people were still dealing with financial aid forms well after the beginning of school so maybe their office is just slow and they eventually will get to everyone??? maybe optimistic but…

I emailed them around late november. this could be a matter of timing- maybe some get it earlier than others! :slight_smile: dont worry!

Guys I really wouldn’t stress over this. Seems to me that there won’t be any correlation - it’s just added anxiety that none of us need.

Our decision isn’t going to be dependent on this email. Relax.

@PrincetonPls I know right, I made that same argument - no one listens :P

Wow, it sickens me how much I’m fretting over this but yes, I did receive the confirmation email 12/9 too after sending the form on November 29. Interesting… as much I hope it’s indicative of acceptance, I bet it isn’t. But I’ll post my results on Monday.

@Frozengogurt‌ : stats?

@frozenyogurt‌ Did you originally ask for a confirmation when you sent in the tax forms?

Nope, no request
