Financial Aid offers are posted on WA

@mickjagger - Look under Financial Aid, then Award Notices, then choose 2011/2012 school year. For my S it says:
“Listed below are awards for the award period selected. Please note that this summary might not reflect your official award. Your official financial aid award is shown only on your most recent financial aid award notice.”

Currently listed for our S is only scholarship info, nothing related to financial aid yet. I’m guessing this is due to their requesting our 2010 tax return, which was just faxed to FA on Friday. Not that we’re expecting much of anything, really, but I would think loans, at least, would ultimately show up on the award notice.

Just filled out my PROFILE yesterday and we are faxing in out non filing statement today… I hope there is still some money left!

@mickjagger---- Look under financial aid section of wolverine access and click on the 2012 school year. It will then take you to the award summary page. If you look to the left, there is a tab entitled “documents”. Click on that and it will tell you what documents, if any, they need. It should also tell you when they received the processed FAFSA. I did the FAFSA on February 4th and U of M didn’t receive it until the 25th.

It does appear that they are working quickly/efficiently, as I faxed our “requested” tax return on Friday the 4th, and on WA it is now listed as “received.” Now we wait.

I finished my Profile in February and my Fafsa in February also. I am submitting my tax return and my parents tax return friday i believe. My EFC has been listed as 0 for a while but they are waiting for additional forms. I am instate. Will i still get a good FA package?

oos…5500 in loans only…well then i guess u mich is out. thanks for making that decision for me…

Out of state transfer here, I was pleasantly surprised with my offer.

keeping checking WA because everyday they keep adding more stuff they need … Another 3 different documents list for me today up to 10 already…

OOS at LSA
I got 18k total in scholarships/work study, and 5k in loans. It’s now cheaper than my state flagship (U of Illinois), so I’m pretty happy with it.

Has anyone received a “full ride” yet?

They requested ours after giving us an estimated award. My hubby had made a mistake on the fasfa so when our tax returns went to the feds it didn’t match up with what he put down. Final package came 2 days later and this all happened last week. My estimated award package was great and the final one stinks.
