Financial Aid Question

I think I might be in a bit of a quandary. UF was awesome enough to meet my full need and Fortunately/Unfortunately I won some outside scholarships. So it seems these scholarships MUST send their checks to UF directly. What I am afraid of is UF might take back some of their scholarship funds as a result of the additonal outside scholarships I received.

Is there any truth to this? If it is true, is there any chance Uf might not take away some of their scholarship money?

Any insight/answers/comments as always are appreciated!

Thanks!

It's possible, but it really depends on your financial situation. Without knowing specifics, I can't say. You do have to report those scholarships, but I would talk to a financial aid officer about it. Give them a call, none of us on this board are really experts about it.

If your financial aid is zero from UF does it really matter if you report new scholarships or not?
