FOOD at UCLA

yeah and bruins drink apple juice because OJ will kill you :D

Hell yes it was! lol I’m surprised there are people around who still remember the Coop pizza place. Amazing pizzas for a super cheap price. Couldn’t beat it. I couldn’t believe they closed it down for friggin Taco Bell :(

ROFL LOL ROFL @kick53rv3

food is very good here, u won’t be disappointed, sadly i’ve already gained like 16 lbs, and i exercise almost everyday. i’ve noticed that everyone here is in really good shape despite the food being so good

our food is ranked #12 overall on the princetonreview
[UCLA FOOD #12](<a href=“Best Campus Food | The Princeton Review”>Best Campus Food | The Princeton Review)
usc and berkeley aren’t even ranked, the only prestigious school ranked above us is cornell #11, notre dame #8, and virginia tech #3
i also remember being told several times that our food is ranked 2nd in the nation next to cornell, they are #1 (but they have a culinary school or something like that)

I don’t like it when people spread this “rumor” … because there is no source. Plus, food rating is so subjective …

i have a question
cuz we use our meals (i will have 19P) to eat at restaurants inside campus, like panda express etc
or only at dining halls, puzzles, bruincaf?
please and thank you :]

To tie into the above post… are there other restaurants on campus, like chains such as Baja Fresh, etc…?

LOL meal swipes at panda express yea right. if you put money on your bruincard, you can use it there, but not swipes.

there is panda express, rubios, sbarro, jamba juice, wetzels pretzels, taco bell and carl’s jr in ackerman

aww. darn it. sucks. it wud be awesome to be able to swipe @ panda. :[

That’s why people get sick of dorm food

Which place has the healthiest/most diet-friendly food on campus?

You can get salad at any of the dining halls. If you want more variety, I have no idea.

Should I get 19 Premier or 19 Non-premier? I’m not sure if the roll over and the time periods are worth the extra 400 dollars. Can someone explain the time periods to me in greater detail as well?

premier. with 19 you will almost certainly miss a lot of meals. and without premier its going to be much much harder to use swipes that you missed.

19p is very convenient if u can afford it, i love it

would 14p be enough for someone who will be on campus 7 days a week?

depends on how much you eat… because 14p is enough for every meal except breakfast but does not include smoothies and coffees… so if you snack a bit then might as well go 19p… i started with 14p my first year and found myself getting an occasional smoothie (hot days walking back from campus :p) and pizza on weekend nights (4 swipes each) so i ended up upgrading to 19p, i use it this year as im kinda used to the freedom and not have to worry about swipes plus i swipe my apartment friends at times

hedrick does organic food and stir-fry bar.

Are the sushi good at UCLA?

I really enjoyed the food at UCLA, they were soo delicious! Here’s the menu for today’s entrees: [Dining Menu & Nutritional Information](<a href=“UCLA Housing-Dining”>Menus | UCLA Housing-Dining) … sooo good!
