Did you receive a postcard from your interviewer?
I'm not sure if this means that I did really well, but I got a handwritten postcard from my interviewer talking about my interview and thanking me for visiting.

Then I got a letter from the Director of Admission saying that she heard from my interviewer about my interview. And she said "[Your interviewer] enjoyed hearing about your efforts to serve your community".

Is this standard for all interviewed persons at Hamilton?

not really however I think hamilton does not exactly keep it a secret when you do good. So you probably did pretty well. I mean you obviosley didnt #%^R up.

I got a similar letter after my interview. I’m hoping it’s a good sign because I really liked Hamilton! And they say the interview is important…

how much time elapsed between your interview and the note you got? i had a really strong on campus interview a few days ago and getting one might be a good sign

haha I received a similar letter after an on campus interview recognizing my summer internship. I was so convinced it wasn’t standard oh well - to gablem I think it was abut 3 - 5 days, not sure

I interviewed and got the exact letter/postcard. I got denied to Hamilton. It was alright because I found the college wasn’t right for me. I had a 4.2 weighted GPA in high school, was extremely involved, active athlete, and was 3rd in my class.

i interviewed and got a letter too saying i had a “strong interview”. i was so happy when i got it, but seeing that everyone else got one is like, “okay…”.

Hey, fear not! I only had a 3.5 W GPA in high school at the time of applying regular to Hamilton and I managed to get in! Oh, and I didn’t have an official interview. There’s hope yet! Don’t worry!!

I received a handwritten note card talking about how Hamilton would be a good fit for me. That was followed up with a letter from the Director of Admission saying that she had been told I had a very strong interview and my interviewer was impressed with my accomplishments (it was pretty specific).

Don’t worry about not being able to get into Hamilton if you are not #3 in your class. I am #5 in a class of less than 200 and will be attending Swarthmore next year.
