<p>Spring admits would be shown I think---it says term and then Fall for me.</p>
<p>Wait-list is reasonable/w.e just wait for your letter... it even acknowledges on the page that there could've been a screw-up.</p>
<p>Didn't receive any letter yet but am able to login to BU Brain and see tabs courses offered & financial aid tabs and NOT able to log into Quik pay - do you think that is another way to check to see if you got in? Waiting for the mailman......</p>
<p>I called up and they said if you haven't already got your letter in the mail then it would be mailed out ON April 1st.</p>

<p>my girlfriend letter was supposedly mailed friday 3/20. (She called this past monday) she still hasnt received it. Basically all the acceptances were mailed and also a congratulatory email was sent.</p>
<p>if you havent received a letter or an email, i think its a safe bet to expect a denial at this point. A friend of mine received a guarantee transfer option for fall 2010 around 3/13.</p>

<p>I've been able to log onto BU Brain for awhile, since like a week after I got my recognition of application letter. I think the QuikPay thing is a more accurate way of predicting acceptance just because if you were admitted they'd let you pay a deposit. But that's just my take on things,</p>

<p>also wen i go into the BU Brain thing, i pressed financial aid, then 2009-2010. IT said academic progress not yet evaluated. does that mean they havent reviewed my application yet? or just that they didnt review it for financial aid????</p>

<p>Most kids at my school have received acceptances and rejection letters. They all applied RD.</p>
<p>However, some kids who are obvious rejects have not received anything and I checked with my buddy from a neighboring school who has solid stats (1300 SAT, 97 avg.), applied EA, deferred and hasn't heard yet. I applied EA and was deferred and haven't gotten anything.</p>
<p>I really don't think I am going to Bing but I am really curious to see if I will get in. A couple days ago I was sure that I didn't get in, but now I'm wondering if all the deferral decisions are the last to be sent out. I have asked a few times but to no avail....any EA applicants receive decisions???</p>
<p>just called they said my application is complete and they have ALOT of SOM applications to review so they might not have reviewed mine yet, she said "we have a lot of school of management applications in, yours is complete and ready to be reviewed, we will send you a decision as soon as we finish reviewing" im not sure if that means it hasnt been reviewed yet or not. but i guess theres still hope!</p>
<p>girlfriend was an ea applicant and still hasnt heard. actually no one at my school that was ea has gotten a denial.....but i gotta say were not hopeful at all.

<p>Yeah, I was told awhile back that EA deferrals are the last reviewed . Everyone laughed at me on here saying that was not the case because we would be at a disadvantage. But I still believe its true and we are at a disadvantage. To your point, I think Bing has sent a good portion of the acceptances out because they worry that top students are no longer considering attending because BU is one of the last colleges for anyone to hear from so people are starting to make their plans.</p>
<p>However, I would think that once a decision is made based on your application, one would be able to pay a deposit. Those glitches happen all the time because they never really think about restricting access.</p>
<p>my girlfriends email with her bing pin was deleted so she cant go on and check to see if she can pay a deposit. otherwise we would know for sure.
if i remember correctly you were offered spring admis to geneseo. i would think bing would do the same for you.
i was hoping my girl would get that offer too. but i really think its gonna be her one and only denial.

<p>Maybe your girl can ask them to review her application again if she is denied. My neighbor's son was rejected last year, drove to the admissions office as soon as he got the letter, sat down and explained that he would do anything to attend BU and they accepted him right on the spot.</p>
<p>SATs screwed me over; I don't work well under time restraints but its part of the admissions process and I should have spent more time preparing for them. I know ridiculous students that were accepted to Geneseo with a far lower GPA than me, took easier classes but had a 1300+ on SATs. These kids don't do homework and pi$$ teachers off daily, yet they are admitted. There are weaknesses in the system.</p>

<p>You can try. I'm just telling you what his mom told me. She said that he went there with the intentions of learning more about transferring. I don't think he went there and demanded that he be accepted. It all depends upon your approach. He might just have had the right timing and said precisely the right things. I don't know him. They live like 7-8 houses down so they are "distant neighbors".</p>

<p>that is what mine said but wierdly they made me change my password yesterday, said it expired. So I think I am rejected.</p>
