<p>When should you hear back for interview invites from December 1st deadline bioscience phd programs? </p>
<p>Also do schools tend to send out all invites on the same day. For example, my friend and I both applied to UCSD and he already got an interview invite. Does this mean I won't hear from them if I haven't already?</p>

<p>It all depends on the program. You may still hear back from UCSD. Some may send out rejections and invite all the applicants for interview over the course of a week, or may do it in waves. I’d start worrying once it comes late January/February and you haven’t heard anything.</p>
<p>Also, some programs will invite applicants right away, and some wait until January. A couple schools with Dec 1st deadlines explicitly have said I won’t hear anything back until January.</p>
<p>Ok thanks for this reply. I hope you’re right about schools sending out invites at different times. UCSD is one of my top schools so I’m hoping there’s still a chance.</p>
