<p>The list I posted is what is currently left for Freshmen to pick from. I donāt think more rooms are released except for when someone decides to not go to UF and cancels their housing. Maybe they save some for transfers? Donāt know how the numbers work to get everyone a room. According to what I can see there are only triples left in Murphree itself. I can only see whatās left for each hall for the females.</p>
<p>@ly7769 - UF only guarantees you housing if you have a housing contract. Not all 6,000 freshman are guaranteed housing. But if you have a pick date of 4/9 and a housing contract then you are. Some have to take the ālate application triplesā, some are put on a waiting list and some will have to find off campus housing. Just be happy you applied early and are one of the lucky ones. :)</p>
<p>I do think all the vacancies are posted at once, the earliest applications have the best choices and then each day the next group picks from whats left. That is how I was told it works anyway.</p>

<p>Yeah this is fall. I think they randomly pick your summer dorm based on your preferences.</p>
<p>I am getting a bit anxious now. My sonās date to pick a room is 4/11/11, which is the last date of supposedly early registration. By seeing the numbers posted yesterday, it seems like there wonāt be any more rooms left. Can someone who has recently picked their room update those available spots number. We have one more week - Yikes!</p>

<p>Yeah,Iām sure there will be because Broward has a lot of space! He could try to find a roommate with an earlier date. My date is tomorrow and Iām trying to get springs, so Iām hoping it wonāt fill up.</p>

<p>@NameNotTaken - Here is the update I just took off the site. The numbers move around though. For instance, a few days ago, there were no Male spaces left in Jennings and now there are 10 as people change their minds and move around. Looks like Broward is real popular with the guys (my son included).

<p>Could anyone tell me how they feel about the communal bathrooms and kitchens? Iām really worried about that part of the dorm life especially since my roommate and I probably will not get Lakeside since her date is earlier than mine and itās the 24th.</p>
