<p>did you received an email asking you to confirm about staying on the waitlist? and that we'll be receiving a response by snail mail before May 15? my D received 2 emails that same day(2 days ago) one from Emory ( the same kind of letter) and one from Georgetown .Then she got off the Emory's WL so i was wondering maybe... it'll be the same with GT!! ...just a thought!</p>

My S got a call, but hasn’t still responded, just wondering whether it is a good idea asking financial questions at this point?

<p>Kulakai, I first got a call 2 days ago confirming my interest;
my admission officer said then he thinks “he will be delivering good news, just don’t tell anyone yet since it’s not official”
I then got a call today saying I’m in.</p>

<p>2-iron: I got in the SFS from the waitlist today. The admissions counselor called me last night and this morning to confirm my interest, then said he would be calling me by the end of the day. Then, just 2 hours later, he called back with an admission (so, from 10:00-12:00 this morning this happened). </p>
<p>When it comes to finaid, he just said a Financial Aid letter would be coming with the rest of the stuff.</p>

<p>when my admissions rep first called to confirm my interest, she also gave me my financial aid package (which is extremely extremely generous, i feel so blessed).</p>
