I GOT IN! SO HAPPY! Good luck everyone!

Congrats to everyone who got in. Iām in New Orleans, hope it comes tomorrow.

Nothing here in NY, anyone heard about Deferal and Rejections? Or only people who are accepted are going to hear first?

Accepted to Gabelli with Deanās Scholarship

Got my letter in the mail today, accepted with deanās scholarship (supposedly $10K or possibly more) (2210 SAT, 4.0 UW GPA, 4.21 W GPA, 800 U.S. history, 670 math 2). Anyone know what levels of merit aid Fordham offers? $10k seems kind of low compared to the cost of the school. Itās not my top choice but itās certainly an option, although I canāt afford to pay $30k/yr to go to Fordham. Does Fordham typically try to meet full need as specified by FAFSA/CSS profile? I have not completed the CSS yet but I will do so in the next few weeks, but I know my FAFSA EFC will be close to zero.

Congrats to all those who got in and welcome to the Fordham family! File a FAFSA if you need more money. File the CSS now if you can.

If you have not heard, relax. They go out in batches. They had close to 10,000 applications this EA cycle! And the RD cycle is ongoing as we speak with a deadline of Jan 15.

Hi everyone! Congrats on everyone who was accepted and was granted aid thatās awesome!
Has anyone heard of anyone that got deferred or rejected? or just acceptances? I live up in Northern New Jersey and I havenāt received anything but a girl the town next to me has and she was accepted so needless to say Iām freaking out.

Also, hi. me againā¦ does any know how many student theyāll accept from each high school?! thereās a number of students applying and I feel as if they wonāt accept all of us.

I live in California, havenāt heard anything either :(

I was wonderingā¦I am a National Merit Semifinalist and the website made it sound like all semifinalists receive the āSemifinalist Scholarshipā based on this quote
āNominees are freshmen graduating from high school in the top 1% of their class, or semifinalists in the National Merit, National Achievement or Hispanic Recognition competitions who are also in the top 10% of their class. Jesuit Scholarship recipients must also be Jesuit high school graduates.ā

ā¦Since Iām a semifinalist and Iām in the top 10% of my class, does anyone know why I only got the Deanās? Any other semifinalists who didnāt get the scholarship?
