Foreign language placement test..

Im currently taking spanish and I HATE THE SUBJECT
(no offense to any spanish..)
I live in NYC and theres this thing called regents, which is like a standardized test for every subject.
I heard if you get over 85 on the regent you dont need to take foreign language in college.. :(
or is it only for CUNYs and SUNYs?</p>

<p>If i still have to take foreign language I'd like to change it to some other language.. is it possible? or are you just stuck with what you took in high school...</p>

<p>No, you don't have to take any foreign languages in college (unless it's part of your major).</p>
