I’m not sure. I just got my packet today. I also was selected as Singer Scholarship finalist at Miami…UGA and Miami interviews are the same weekend so I have to decide…

I don’t think anyone can possibly know yet. This is a screenshot taken 5 minutes ago from my status check.

I got the packet via snail mail today.

hey when you said you were a finalist for P.S. at Tech did you get notification that you had made it/have to attend the weekend retreat in February? Or did you mean that you were a semi-finalist waiting to hear the results?

Got snail mail notification today that OSS son did not make it into the finals for the Foundation awards, which was not a surprise. Letter went on to say he would be considered for Charter and other scholarships through end of March.

I assume if others turn down their awards they simply move down the chain, which is reasonable. Must say, we appreciate them clearly saying this in the letter as opposed to keeping us guessing as to what the process was. I ASSUMED this was how the process worked, but UGA never explained and at the “Early Accepted Honors” event last week, there was no real information on the topic of scholarships.

DD also got a snail mail confirmation that she did not make the cut Oh well, moving on…

The scores for SAT and GPA’s seem out of alignment in Goergia.

To have an unweighted 4.0, one should be a 2350 SAT or higher (1580 for r and m)
3.8 should be a 2320 at least (1560 for r and m)
