What are the criteria to get a full-ride to Rutgers in New Jersey. The better one though in New Brunswick.

I've had friends with mediocre grades and SAT grades get lots of scholorship money. If you have know, could you fill me in. Things like SAT, types of EC, GPA, etc. I know there's no exact number or types, but a generalization would be great. Thanks :)

Rutgers is retarded in the sense that all they do is consider statistical accomplishments for the full ride. So they don't care about ecs, activities, leadership, etc. If you have 1500 + on Math + CR and are ranked in the top 5% in your class, you get a free ride. Nothing else matters. If you have a 1350 and over and are ranked top 10 % or something in your class, you only get 5 grand a year. That means that a valedictorian with a 1490 receives the same amount of money as somebody ranked 30th in their class with a 1350. It happened to a friend of mine, who was val. of her class w/ a 1490. Rutgers only gave her 5 grand and wouldn't negotiate with her at all. She took Rutgers off her list of colleges.

Ohh....ok, that post cleared a lot of things up. I doubt I can get above a 1500, but if I do, I think I might go there :D

Thanks for that post.

Also, do you know about NJIT?
