What are some successful fundraisers that you've done?

Not even a single event, it could be something that goes on..

I need to figure out some fundraisers to do for a club at school. Anybody have any bright ideas of something that oculd birng in over $1k? $500?

Ideas:
1) get people to donate old textbooks or other things, then sell them at a consignment store
2) get students to donate to the club, the homeroom that donates the most gets a pizza party
3) sell T-shirts
4) sell advertising space on your club T-shirts, if you have them
5) bake sale/car wash/etc. Community service hours could be involved.

etc.

Sell candy

Sell pieces of your Supreme Awsumness.

There is a freshman fundraiser at our school that is pretty successful. Krispy Kreme gives them a discounted price and they sell them back to students every last Friday of the month for $5.00 a dozen. They make a nice profit.

When the weather is decent out (kind of cold here right now) car washes make a lot of money. They easily bring in $500 after 4ish hours, in my clubs anyway. ;P The more people helping, the better, potential customers might not come if the wait looks too long.

The best and easiest fund raiser I have ever done is a basket auction. Assign members to ask for items for themed baskets.... ie. garden, movie night, game day, calgon take me away, Arts and crafts.... hold the auction during a high trafic event... I had two weeks to organize one for my youth group at church and we made $1500 with very little effort. People really get into it and it becomes a compitetion as to who can make the coolest basket.

Zap-A-Snack

chocolate.

sell test answers
