<p>Hey there everybody!
I'm Just curious how many of you are Science major and what schools you guys may have applied to with your stats!
We are a dime in a dozen.</p>
<p>I myself applied to UCSD, UCD, UCSC, UCSB and UCR.
My major is Nuerobiology
Im Hispanic, low income
GPA:3.36 (really low but my first year i had straight F's because i was not as motivated and determined to be a good college student, so these past two years i had a GPA trend of <3.5)
and I plan on continuing to increase my GPA to pursue something in the medical field.</p>
<p>That’s so cool, I’m also a science major. I applied to UCB, UCLA, UCD, and UCSD.
For UCB: Molecular and Cell Biology (emphasis in either neurobiology, or immunology), UCLA: Neuroscience, UCD: Neurobiology immunology and physiology, and UCSD: Neuroscience. </p>
<p>UCB: TAP, UCLA: TAP, UCD: TAG
I’m also Hispanic. My cumulative GPA: 3.85, Major: 3.90.
EC: Supplemental Instructor for Chemistry, Teaching Assistant for Organic chem, Currently working on a project that will help my community (in the health field), working with Stanford Medical School (LEAP), Outreach person for Premed Club, member of a club that helps first generation/ESL students succeed in College, Internship related to STEM, Coauthor or a paper that will be displayed in the 2014 ASEE journal, PTK member, Honors transfer program member (done with honors units), I also volunteer as a student panelist for first generation students, and also volunteered with Stanford Grad students on the STAR program at Stanford University (where we presented our results from our research to high school students and at my community college), and worked as a math tutor during summer etc… </p>
<p>I also want to go to med school, my dream school for med school is either UCSF or Stanford I hope you get in into your dream school for Undergrad and Med school.</p>

<p>UC GPA:~3.83 (got 3 B’s in math: calc 1 (taken in HS), differential equations, and linear algebra :/)
Major GPA:~3.8-3.9 not exactly sure</p>
<p>However i am missing two classes for UCLA and UCSD idk if they are prereqs: a 3rd semester of physics and a fourth semester of bio, the biochem class which i cannot take because i will be considered to have excess units and thus be ineligible to transfer because i have credits from 2 classes at CSUF taken during senior year of HS which sucks :l</p>
<p>No EC’s, just worked throughout around 15-20 hrs a week and tutored on the side as extra</p>
<p>IDK i’m afraid for April, hopefully i get into UC Berkeley my dream school and you guys do as well</p>
