The general C.H. application needed to be submitted by the 5th to be eligible for this Pogue scholarship... I stupidly waited too long to turn it in and of course had technical difficulties and ended up submitting the general app at about 12:22 am on the 6th. Is the Pogue application that I sent in earlier automatically disqualified because I was (...barely ><) late?

i must admit, that fully SUCKS! I would call admissions and see if they can find you that information, as something like that only deserves an answer from the source. I am guessing the answer is that it would be disqualified, as I assume online apps tend to record to the second, but call admissions...find out for sure.

Eff.

See, one girl submitted her general application to Yale or something one hour late because of technical difficulties and still got in...... but I wonder if this may be different because it was for a scholarship and not the "real" admissions deadline.

Ah well. Yeah, I'll think I'll call them-- thanks <=]

I have a feeling they would be okay with 22 minutes past the deadline.

Of course, call them and let them know because electronically, it may just say submitted AFTER the deadline, but if you talk to someone you should be fine.

Good luck!

I think crazygood is right, give em a call.

I don't think the admissions people are as unyielding as they appear. I believe that they put on that appearance to discourage people from trying to submit apps late.

I think you'll be just fine, but do call them.
