How important is it to dress in houndstooth/red/black/white on game days? Do truly all the kids wear those colors every game? My D has some cute dresses, but some not in those colors. Would it be frowned upon if she did wear those to game days? Also when does it start getting colder? So 8 home games, would you wear summer dresses to the first 4 and then what? Starting to pack, only 8 more days until we fly from AZ. YIKES!

It isn’t necessary at all to limit her dress to specific colors for game days. In fact, it isn’t necessary to wear a dress to all of the games unless she so chooses…unless perhaps she is going Greek. Many girls do wear dresses to the first game and some wear them to most or all of the games. There are also many girls who choose to go to the games in shorts or jeans and a cute top or even a game jersey.

Once it gets cold, many girls choose to wear a pea coat or other appropriate outerwear over a dress or with jeans and a cute shirt…even a sweatshirt. It really depends upon her own preference and style.

There can be an occasional cold snap in October, but it is generally comfortable. It will likely be cold for sure in November. You never really know exactly what the weather will be for sure.:)
