Geneseo's Dante House

Hi, so before I say anything important, I just want to let everyone know that this is my first post on college confidential and I am hopefully working the site correctly (duh!).

So I am going to Geneseo as a freshman this fall and am wondering what you know about the Dante House. 100 first-years live there. 1/3 are Edgar Fellows program, 1/3 are International students, and 1/3 apply to it. I applied, mainly because I really really want all-freshman housing and want to heighten my chances, but also because the idea of Dante's dislike of political and religious corruption, the global-thinking of the house, and I think the students in the house will be like me in those ways.

Anyway, what I want to know is, how is the social life in this house compared to Jones and Onondaga, and if you can compare the two, what is good and bad about each. Not just social life, but everything. All input is appreciated. Thanks guys! This will help me decide to end up living there if I have the chance.
