I’ve heard the 24 as well but that just seems to be speculation.
Does anyone know if GW has sent out emails a few days before decisions are released in the past
^^yeah when do they tell us a date
Some schools email ahead of time and say it will come out in a day or two, some schools just kinda drop it on you. The GW Twitter hasn’t revealed anything except that they are “anxious” to release decisions
I got in ED1, GW will email you the day before with a time (it has been 6pm for the past few years) that the decisions will be available in the activity center.
Thank you!! @FutureColonial27
is the likely letter only related to financial aid or does it have to do with acceptances?
@geiseln I’m pretty sure it’s just related to acceptances
@KLWoodlands so if I didn’t get one does that mean my chances of getting in are lower?
I don’t think so, I know people have gotten in without receiving a LL, don’t worry @geiseln
I also heard that decisions come out the 24th. GW hasn’t specifically indicated a date, but this day does seem to be floating around the internet. Hopefully it’s true!
I hope it’s the 24th! I kind of want to know before NYU because this is my 2nd choice and I have more of a chance of getting in, so if I do get in I won’t be as stressed about NYU
@geiseln me too. I’m waiting for Georgetown and I’d like to know GWU beforehand.
do we see it on the portal first? or do they time it so you get it in the mail first?
@risingseniors You will see it on your portal first.
Also, I’ve kind of lost track of this thread so I’m sorry if this question has already been asked, but will you be able to see all your financial aid and merit scholarship information at the same time you get your decision?
@anothermuggle yes!
sorry I’ve been behind in this group. does the likely letter thing apply to everyone or only those who applied to the honors program? i applied regular and I’m getting super nervous about it
@jesr1121 No, likely letters are not just sent out to people who applied honors. However, LLs are only sent to a small number of students, and only a minority of accepted students receive them.
are we guessing decisions come out on Thursday? anyone know?
