George Washington RD 2020

I received an email too - but it didn’t say congratulations - it just said there was an update to my application status. Uh oh that doesn’t sound good. Congratulations to you though!

I just learned that Stanford rejected all of it’s applicants! That is insane!

@trackcheer2016 I have the same message on my acceptance letter and applied to the same program as you. Since it doesn’t sound like anyone else posted about our program I think it’s safe to say that is what we both got accepted into it!

@nyudreaming212 . I saw a letter on this feed from admissions indicating that they were offering the Paris program with admission to DC campus in sophomore year to about 50 students.

Does anyone know how the waitlist works at GW? Like who gets admitted and who doesn’t if they have spots in late May? Is it random?

Accepted into the Honors Program! International 30 ACT, 95 GPA, lots of ECs, good interview

Quick question-- how do I find my GWID? I understand that the pin is my birthday, but I also need the GWID to view my financial aid.

Should be in the email they sent you after you submitted the application

Accepted!!! Such great news after such a long wait!

Waitlisted. Just curious, is the Elliott School harder to get into than the other schools, or are they all the same?

@egaliteoulamort You should have received an email thanking you for your application when you applied. That email also contained your GWID.

Wait listed here, but no offer for the Paris program. Sounds like your rejection (is that the word the Admissions Office actually used?) is better than the wait list.

@HappyFace2018 that’s such a lie i know someone that got into stanford RD

Accepted to Eliot school of international affairs! 2100 superscore SAT, 30 ACT, 4.0/4.75 GPAs, been attending a dual enrollment college high school since junior year… Ranked #1 HS in Nevada. Also I am graduating as valedictorian but I’m tied for it with my twin sister. Good essays and letters I think?? NHS. I got the presidential scholarship. How big of a deal is this? Also, on my financial aid page it says that cost of attendance is $68,000 and then a chart telling me what my financial aid award is. So is $68k the cost after my aid or is the aid number subtracted from it?

@HappyFace2018 @lolog123 It was a satirical article in the New York Times today. The acceptance rate for Stanford wasn’t really 0%. They were mocking how selective schools have become and how high the expectations of applicants have become.

@rbandrews $68,000 is the total cost and you subtract your aid, amount left is your out of pocket cost. Congrats!

@rbandrews i think so because the regular cost is like $78,000

@lolog123 So you think $68,000 is my total cost after awards? If regular cost is $78,000, then I’m not sure because I got more than $10,000 in aid.

@rbandrews 68 is the total cost before any awards.

@julia1611 ok thank you!
