@collegewhat1234 you have to commit to another school then if you get accepted you can un-commit or stay at the school you committed to

if you got waitlisted go to this thread!! I created it so that we can all talk about… well being waitlisted. My main concern is that GW is my #1 and I honestly would rather go to community college than any other college if i don’t get into GW
should I consider going to GWU since I got a 20k scholarship? Or would I receive a better education at Lehigh or Gettysburg?
@ri0tvan That’s the language in My daughters acceptance information. As long as it said “Congratulations!” that’s all she wanted to see.

@GWdreamteam1998 idk probably not I mean I got into American with a super nice package so I think I’ll end up there (I kinda like the campus feel of it too) I never showed any interest in GW and had never even visited so in not surprised I got wait listed (I’m guessing if I showed interest it could’ve made a difference) I might just accept it and see what happens haha and you??

@Glav22 @lolog123 please do not commit to the waitlist if you really don’t care/have no intention of accepting… I was one of the lucky who got in, but there are so many deserving students on the waitlist who want nothing more than to get in (like my sister). Not telling you what to do or trying to be rude, but it makes me a little angry when some people are so nonchalant about accepting the waitlist when there are kids who would die to be accepted.
