**George Washington Transfer 2011 Thread**

I just called and he said max two weeks or the next week and I spoke to an admissions counselor so who knows… this wait is srsly gettig to the point that I am excited to find out but kind of stressed and over it

The applicant portal is under maintenance. Looks like decisions may be coming out tomorrow as was speculated.

The “Admissions Activity Center” is working perfectly fine for me.

I live in the dc area and i spoke to an admissions director in person and he told me that the decisions will be sent by email within today and tomorrow most definitely. And the email will tell you to check the gw activity center to see if you got in or not.

Sent from my SGH-T959V using CC App

^ Oh great. That just activated my nerves.

i’m guessing today at 5pm. odds are admissions won’t be in the office for the long memorial day weekend.

good luck guys.

yeah they would prob do it at 5

 1. so they won’t have to deal with the outrage of students calling about being rejected
 2. the weekend lol

What other schools did you guys apply to?

^ georgetown, Columbia, Claremont McKenna, northwestern. Waitlisted at Columbia and CMC

@cwh2014-- i also applied to georgetown university
anyways, i pestered someone again about the deadline, and this person said that they finished putting labels on packages on the first round of accepted applicants today and those acceptance packages were finished processing and were getting mailed. he said that not everyone will know at the same time because its rolling decisions so theyre sending responses to people that they have definitely made decisions for, for the first round.

I thought emails came first then packages :(

Just checked nothing yet… So neverous!

i thought so too but he just said that you will find out in the mail, but sometimes the activity center is updated before you get the package. last year in this blog, people got their decisions in the mail even when their online status still said under review.

I just received the following e-mail:
