**George Washington Transfer 2011 Thread**

I got it too!!! im so nervous…i thought its rolling basis but
i guess we all will find out at the same time. good luck!

Better question: did anyone NOT get that email?

Just got the exactly same email!! God bless us!

good luck everyone!!!

What should I do if I get rejected? Can I be put on a waiting list so I can take the spot of a student who does not wish to attend GWU?

I received the email as well. I would love to be a fly on the wall in the admissions department. For many of you, your lives will forever change tomorrow. To those who are not accepted, keep your backs erect and your chin up high, for there is always University of Phoenix…jk. God bless you all.

good luck guys. If you get it congrats and if not they probably missed out on someone amazing. STAY positive and remember everything happens for a reason.

excited that decision are coming out tomorrow!! I have thee other colleges waiting for my decision!

if you get rejected…you are not put onto the waitlist. Usually to get on the waitlist your desision should say waitlisted…not rejected.

7,022 students were admitted from the original application pool, resulting in an acceptance rate of 32.6 percent, the second lowest in University history. The acceptance rate for the Class of 2014 was 0.5 percentage points lower.

Just read this on the Gwu iPhone app. I think it is a good news for transfer student.

Omg I’m totally freaking out. I’ll be out tonight so my sister is gonna keep checking for me. Dumb Iphone wont log into the website. Good luck everyone!!

Has anyone tried and successfully activated their GWID on Bannerweb. I am trying to be sneaky lol.

yes, i was able to log into gweb! it even has a list of all my financial aid forms that i sent in, and ones that still need to be. the last part was updated on may 19th and says “The deadline for receipt of the Verification of Family Member Enrollment form is September 30th. We cannot disburse funds until we are in receipt of the completed document.” lol i know i need to get on that but do you think that is a good sign?!

How did you get on gweb? Dont you need a net id? Tellll meeeee

Sent from my SGH-T959V using CC App

go to this website: banweb.gwu.edu
then your user id is your gwid, including the G. and the pin number is your date of birth! good luck!

Yeah I’m able to get into Gweb too, I doubt it means much though.

I am able to get on too.

So, I’m mildly worried by a tweet from gwadmissions from about an hour ago: “Our first round of transfer decisions will be released today!” They didn’t say all, or even most, but just “first round” :/

And the e-mail they sent out doesn’t say that transfer decisions will be available at 6 pm. It just says that decisions will be posted sometime after 6 pm today. For all we know, that could be next week, since that, too, is technically after 6 pm today.

Am I just reading too much into things? I really want to find out today…I’m really, really eager to finally be able to decide where I’ll be next fall!

(Oh, and ps - I can get onto GWeb, too, but I kind of doubt that it means anything. Hope it does, though, lol!)

^ So worst case, those of us who were emailed are the first round (typically indicating an acceptance) and we’ll have to wait a little bit longer.

Yeah, I think you’re reading too far into this.

@jayfromla I think everyone got that email lol.
