Thinking they haven’t been mailed yet @ttg1125 . No one has anything coming up on USPS Informed Delivery.
@Tennisboy2022 Sorry, that was poorly worded. Expect to be notified by email if you’re an international student. The physical mail will come eventually, but the email will definitely come first.
Where did they post?
@littlechild I remember reading somewhere on the GU website how that’s standard procedure for international applicants
Ahh okay. @MrElonMusk thanks
are there any chances that georgetown has disabled tracking like USC?
@whoknows2022 huh?
The letters are being mailed on April 1st. A week ago, my family moved homes and my address obviously changed. I called the Georgetown Admissions office yesterday to change my address on my application and I asked if it was too late to change it. The lady I spoke to said, “Nope, not too late. We are sending the letters out on April 1st.” Bummer that we have to wait this long, but I wanted to let you all know the info that I just got.
April 1st is Easter Sunday. I just think she was saying the company line.
I agree @Winky1 and I hope you are right about it being the “company line”
I hope not because I don’t think I can wait another 10 days… this week has already been long enough
So, Georgetown is only sending physical admission decisions? Isn’t this the 21st century where everything is done online?
@timvasilyev7 Hey, respect the tradition and the process. Georgetown is sending physical admission decisions to all applicants (International applicants will also receive an email)
hey guys this is somewhat unrelated but is anyone else having trouble signing up for informed delivery? I really want to sign up since I’ll be away when the letter comes but it says it can’t verify my identity! did this happen to anyone else?
Can you go to your post office to confirm your identity @skico2018 ?
@skico2018 Try signing up with someone else’s name who lives in your household. My name did not work either
Can you go to your post office to confirm your identity @skico2018 ?
@Ashley676 Everyone’s financial situation is different. As long as you can get a solid undergrad pre-med education with enough rigor that you can rock the MCATs, you would be better served going someplace that doesn’t require you to borrow $150k (or more) before you even consider the cost of grad school. I don’t know enough about UMd’s program so its hard to comment, but most major state schools have more than adequate programs for pre-med.
@skico2018 have your parent’s sign up so that their identity can be verified. USPS uses a credit reporting system to verify identity.
Letters are definitely being sent tomorrow, the 23rd, as they have repeatedly mentioned. They have already confirmed this. I don’t really think any colleges release decisions “After April 1st” lol
