The postage rate has more to do with how mail to a particular area is bundled. USPS website indicates that mail up to 3.5 oz. bundled by AADC (automated area distribution center) is 41 cents. A single piece letter weighing 1 oz. is 50 cents…I’m guessing this is using the zip code method? These are commercial rates.
So 50 cents is accepted? and rejected is ____.???
Until we have more data: .41 is rejected. .50 accepted.

I’m so confused. I live in Alexandria which is 10 miles away from Georgetown. I still haven’t gotten my letter…
@rrss1919 It may be that they put some of these decisions in the mail earlier yesterday, and some got mailed later in the day after sorting was done at a major Post Office. Just a guess b/c it does seem odd that you wouldn’t have gotten it today. It also seems that MD people are getting it before VA people.

rejected from princeton and tufts. georgetown is truly my last (and top) option. i hope they see how much i love them.
S19 rejected Yale, Dartmouth, and Duke ( deferred ED) waitlisted Vandy and Northwestern. Can this torture just be over . Just want her to make a decision a try to enjoy it . Accepted at UVA, Chapel Hill, GW, Notre Dame , & Richmond .
Rejected at NYU, Columbia, Princeton, and UPenn tonight…hopeful about Georgetown but I’m honestly not expecting an acceptance. I just want decisions to be over-Georgetown is my last one.
