Georgetown Class of 2017 EA/RD Discussion Thread

80/530 is only for NHS

Lol just saying 80/530 is still 15%.

I’m like 3 hours from DC, what are my chances of getting it tomorrow? Guess we’ll see

Yeah I took the 15% stat from the Hoya and the number who applied to NHS(527) to get a rough estimate. Of course it could vary, I just wanted a ballpark! AskBoston glad I found someone else interested in International Health, good luck!!

I’m International, so probably next week for me. sighs.

don’t int’ls get their decisions through email?

REALLY? WHERE?
and when are they out again?

Im so nervous

It’s so addictive to go on here and read everything. But it is making my nerves worse. I’ll be back when I get my decision. Hopefully this afternoon!

Good luck!

Yes, East Coasters, please post whether you got anything in the mail today.

Nothing in today’s mail. New Hampshire

I cant take it. I’m actually depressing myself with visions of me being rejected in 101 different ways… Gahhhhkkk Why cant the envelope just be HERE already??
-Massachusetts - No mail :/

Thanks. Now I know not to look for it Monday if y’all didn’t get anything today. The waiting is nerve-wracking.

Nothing in New Jersey.

This is just a guess, but it seems possible that Georgetown may push the mailing out as far as possible (I’m thinking Tuesday or even Wednesday) because of the delay caused by (and filing extension granted as a result of) Sandy and to give the admissions people a few make-up days. They must have been totally scrambling to meet the 12/15 E.A. notice date. I could be totally wrong, but just my .02.

In any case, this seems like a good time for a comic interlude. . .

(stolen from Jokes.com)

Q: What is green and fuzzy, has four legs, and will kill you if it drops on you from a tree?
A: A pool table.

Sorry, pretty bad. Anyone else?

What’s the Internet’s favorite animal?
◦The lynx.
BAHAHAHA (’:

Yeah Dartmouth said they would notify 12/15 by mail and on their thread someone said they called the office and they said they were swamped with work and would be sending out decisions at the last minute. Maybe it’s the same kind of situation for Gtown

I’m back to say one thing: no mail in MD, I think it may be at the post office but came to late for delivery? Maybe?

No emails as far as internationals are concerned. This sucks because I have no idea when they’re going to send itttt

I really wish I could know today, but if Divy doesn’t then I don’t see how I can. I hope it comes Monday though!
