I am having my interview at his home...

I was going to have the interview at his home, but he has a daughter, and he was concerned she would fall in love with me. So, he thought it'd be better if we had it at a coffee shop, but his daughter still showed up and fell in love with me.

I think it's kind of inappropriate of an interviewer to have the interview at their house. It's not neutral territory. It's not very comfortable for the interviewee. It's like Indecent Proposal or something like that. I don't know. I'm sure you'll be fine. Good luck m.kenien.

Lol! I could never think of having an interview at a coffee shop...

Actually...my interviewer proposed me to come to his house...

I am taking my brother with me .... so gues.. I will be safe....

Oh, interesting.

My interview will be at the alumni's office, which just happens to be a trailer at a construction site. Should I still wear a suit?

i think a suit is too dressed up for a college interview in any location....i think for guys it should be more like nice pants and a collared shirt. maybe even a tie. but not a suit. in my opinion, wearing a suit is overdressed in a bad way.

lol! I am going to wear a dress akin to Genevieve de Fontaney's collection... but I won't be wearing the hat.

I think it's pretty much up to you how you want to dress. I see what you're saying though E. I just showed up in a nice pair of slacks and shoes, a Dartmouth sweatshirt and hat. Nothing too over the top...Just the basics

I don't know what I'll be wearing tomorrow, but will manage to look demure, maybe in Alberta Ferretti's low-cut sundress and wear simple jewellery.

lol...a dartmouth sweatshirt. i'm sure that went over well ;)

I wore a fig leaf.

Elg, it went over alright, until I got a phone call from him the other day. Apparently his daughter is trying to transfer already from Columbia to Dartmouth now out of no where. He is blaming me, since Columbia was always her dream school, but I certainly can't take responsibility for any of this. He told me he'd write me an excellent review if I would promise to stay away, but unfortunately he's going to have to be seeing me nine months from now anyhow :-X Bad Dickie Do Right!

??
Haha sooo anyways back to the topic at hand...

I am incredibly nervous....specifically because no one that has received notification received it in the form of a rejection. This seems to indicate Georgetown sends out acceptances before rejections, so, as each day goes by with no word, the worse off we are :/

hahaha, yeah definitely I'm nervous. I hope this interview puts me over the top. However, I haven't found a cure for aids. I haven't started an investment group. My dad isn't a state senator. I don't know what to expect...sigh.

crog...this is true. but its a little too early to think that way now considering its not even may. but yeah by mid-may...this will be very true. yay.

Haha I completely agree, I Just want a letter...now...lol

Sachmoney, too funny!! did you talk about your love of Greek art? haha

stewart--huh????

And, it does say on the website that they will need to review final grades for some applicants before a final decision can be made...

For everyone who has already been accepted: CONGRATS!! Please be courteous to the rest of us and tell Gtown "yes" or "no," as soon as you've made a decision about where to attend... If you don't go, you spot opens up for one of us!!! thanks, and CONGRATS!! I'm jealous. haha

Wow, I just read Henry's post from a few days ago. That is crazy how early he heard. Do you think we could be hearing this week if we do not have an interview issue?

I was accepted as a transfer and received my letter on Friday! I'm psyched and wasn't expecting it, at all! Good luck to the rest of you.
