I also got an e-mail of continued interest, nothing else yet however.
did any of you guys respond to the email asking about “continued interest”, or contact them at all after the “update” letter?
never got an email even though I sent updated grades, letter of continued interest, and another recommendation letter

Really? It just seemed like the e-mail was strictly a confirmation of your accepting the spot, not necessarily a precursor to an acceptance. I’d check your spam, trash, etc. Maybe not everyone got it, though.

I had trouble reaching my regional admissions officer earlier in the year so i emailed guadmiss@georgetown.edu. They replied saying that “Updates to a PENDING FIRST-YEAR OR TRANSFER APPLICATION should be directed to: guapplication@georgetown.edu”. So I emailed everything to that address.
The only thing I got was in april saying that they had received my information and that my wait list form had been submitted, but that was before I had sent my letters.
I sent out additional information around april 20th, maybe a day or two after that.

So am I right that we only know of 1 person – Trasadi from the Bay Area admitted to SFS last week, who received a call, then an offer via email? Everyone else got the email simply checking on continued interest?
Has any of you got a reply to your emails? Im and international student and I have been mailing the office and some admissions officers regularly since the beginning of April but havent got any replies except the email they sent to everyone. Does this mean they are not interested in me?
@kiraip I would not draw that conclusion simply from a failure to confirm receipt of information. I don’t think they are responding to anyone. If they have several hundred people emailing them 1-3 times with nothing more than updates, why respond? Wouldn’t you rather they spend their time in committee making the case to the rest of the committee as to why you should be admitted?
D was waitlisted to SFS - received call from her regional rep last Thursday telling her that she “was an admit” if she was still interested, gave her 24 hours to say whether she wanted to slot or not. In the end, D decided not to accept - she had already put too much energy into preparing for the school she was planning on attending, found a roommate, etc. Also, significant $$ difference given scholarship at other school.
