I am a Junior in High School. I want to get into Texas A&M. I am in the 2nd quartile in a very competitive high school. I have a 95 GPA. I have been in pre-ap courses, dual credit, and compete in UIL competitons in math and number sense. I scored a 28 (breakdown below) on the ACT. I am in the honor society. I am a 2 sport varsity athlete and also compete for my school in competitive skeet shooting and hold an office in that club. I have been on two mission trips to Kenya and France. I also compete on select/club sport teams. I have been told that being in the 2nd quartile is not good. I have some interest in the Corps at A&M and recently did an overnight visit with the corp. Will my 2nd quartile ranking kill my chances of getting into Texas A&M? Thank you for your help!
