<p>Well in the true form of many cc cafe posts I am going to contribute my share and ask the most vapid, and shallow question I can muster. Here goes: Do you guys know of any places to get a really cute tote? I am going on the trip of a lifetime with my best friends and our moms after graduation and so far everything is perfect except I don't have a shoulder bag yet. So ladies, any suggestions?</p>
<p>Well, I guess it depends on how much you want to spend. Coach has a very cute tote that's huge and very versatile. It's nylon and it feels like it's waterproofed (I've carried it around in the rain and it's fine). It was around $200.
Vera Bradley has some really cute totes also. I tihnk the cheapest one is around $42 and I have it in Nantucket Red and it also works well (except when it gets wet)</p>

<p>If you want cheap, go for LL Bean - they come in pink, cornflower blue, etc.</p>
<p>Try Nine West for basic shoulder bags, which are usually not hideously expensive.</p>
<p>I love my Vera Bradley totes. LL Beans hold up really well. I also recently discovered the seatbelt bags. search for that on ebay, they are really really cute and original</p>
<p>I just have to say when I looked at the title of this thread i thought it said, "cute toes, any ideas?" and was like ***. can't really help you here, i get all my purses and totes from kmart or similar places, which is probably not what you had in mind.</p>

<p>Not a tote but the rose-colored Marc by Marc Jacobs leather & suede hobo is on sale at Saks. I like the mushroom attached to it. </p>
<p>Urban Outfitters has funky cloth totes in the 30-80 dollar range. </p>
<p>L.L. Bean, J.Crew, Lacoste, and Lily Pulitzer are your best bets if you want something preppy. </p>
<p>Coach is ubiquitous nowadays but the leather is quite nice as long as it's not splattered with those tacky logos.</p>
